StarCraft: Ghost dissapears Blizzard has decided to postpone the development of StarCraft: Ghost until further notice. They want to evaluate their next-gen options first, before continuing production of this title.

"Like many in the industry, we've been impressed with the potential of the new consoles, and we're looking forward to exploring that potential further," stated Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "In addition to allowing us to determine the best course for StarCraft: Ghost, this review period will help us lay the groundwork for our future console games."

Expect this title to resurface in a few years.

Lumine: Eh, was looking forward to playing this. Though the latest versions looked terrible, hopefully a next-gen version actually looks like a Starcraft game.
Azlam Orlandu: It's a shame, but it was turning into another Duke Nukem Forever type situation.
Darian Loneheart: Oh - BIG surprise. And I was getting ready to make an actual DNF JOKE, but Azlam shot it down bu referencing it before I could. I hope you're happy, Azlam, you deprived everyone of my awesome wit. But man are SC fans ever getting the shaft. We finally get some kind of continuation in that universe -- it isn't the SC2 we've all been praying for but it's better than nothing -- and now this... *sigh*
