God of War 2: Divine Retribution screenshots and video Dutch site GamesCathedral has gotten hold of new God of War 2: Divine Retribution screenshots, showing Kratos kicking ass in the same fashion as he did before. The screenshots reveal vast new game areas (temples on the backs of giant horses!) and abilities, such as a grappling hook. Some new details of the game have also been revealed: you can now switch weapons on-the fly, and the magic system has been significantly updated. Come inside to check out these impressive new screens or visit the link below to see some YouTube video footage from the game.

Inferno101487: This game looks actually beautiful.. truly shows somewhat impressive graphics. Kinda reminds me of Prince of Persia: the two thrones. Just like the first game though great and awesome as it was, knowing Sony they would probably just add few new extra moves and maybe even some new storyline. Still this game looks very promising though.
Darian Loneheart: Mmm... God of War... I'm a little dissapointed that he looks exactly the same, you know, considering he's a friggin' GOD and everything I kinda expected him to look like... well... the concept art of him that came a little while back. :p
keeko_ca: Kratos isn't a God, he's a mortal...just thought I'd clarify that. I think what I liked about the first game soooo much...was that there was nothing quite like it. If Prince of Persia is any indicator...I think I may have all the fun I need from Kratos' adventures in the first game. Looks f'n good tho....REEEAALLLY F'n good.
Sullichin: he becomes a god in the end of GOW!
Darian Loneheart: Did you ever beat GOW, keeko? :p It isn't a big complaint or anything, it's just that when the game was announed they released a piece of concept art of him in his new godly armor and that was what I was expecting him to look like. Story will probably be something having to do with his brother.
